Charity Miles

How would you like to work up a sweat and support a charity at the “same time”? Now you can with this free app called Charity Miles. Here’s how it works… simply scroll through and select from more than 20 charities to support. Once you press “start” you’ve become a “sponsored athlete”. Just think of this… as you exercise… you’re helping change the world.

You can run, bike or walk. As you exercise, Charity Miles tracks your distance and tallies up your donation. Bikers earn 10 cents per mile and runners and walkers earn 25 cents per mile. For example, every mile for Feeding America feeds two people. Every mile for Girl Up sends a girl to school for a week.

When you’re finished, spread the word through social media and Charity Miles will send you a note confirming your good work.
