Child ID Kit

Our Money Saving Queen has a project that every parent should see. We’re making a Child ID kit. Having all of this material in one spot is a very smart move. it takes very little time to make and, in case of emergency, when every second counts, it could make all the difference.

If you can’t perfect the fingerprinting with a squirming toddler, check with your local police department. They are usually more than happy to do it and your kids will get a kick out of it! You can see I also dated the form because you want to update this twice a year.

Because my sons have food allergies, I’ve also created a special page listing what their allergies “and” medications are. I also keep their shot records all in one place. Usually I use these baseball trading card sleeves for coupons, but now I’m going to use them for copies. Not the original’. Copies of their social security cards, insurance and even a DNA sample. I’ve heard stories of parents who were so upset they couldn’t provide police with information. They just weren’t thinking straight. Having all of this in one place is good for peace of mind. That’s priceless.
