Fight The Flu

Fighting the flu… it’s everywhere and today our Money Saving Queen Sarah Roe is going to help you keep your family healthy “and” save you some money! Now… the Centers for Disease Control tell us we can help stop the spread of flu by exercising proper cough and sneezing etiquette, that means into your elbow. Wash hands regularly. Sarah tells her boys to sing the Happy Birthday song. Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth. And to, of course, clean and disinfect.

Because it is cold and flu season, now is “the” time on cash in on cleaning supplies to help with the cleaning and disinfecting. You’re going to find these cleaning products on sale.

Another option is an easy homemade cleaner… so easy you don’t even have to write it it down… just one part water and one part vinegar.

Having worked around kids and now having her own… Sarah know that flu viruses can live up to 8 hours on surfaces like toys, counter tops, phones and TV remotes. Wipe them down or… do what she does… and give the toys a big bleach bath. Stay healthy so we can continue to save money together!

Meet the Queen: Five years ago Sarah’s son had life threatening food allergies causing her family to spiral into a financial crisis. Today, she is an award-winning blogger, radio & television celebrity, speaker and author. Learn more: moneysavingqueen.com
