Green Cleaners

Spring is in the air and it’’s time for a “deep clean.” If you want go green as you clean, use these time-tested kitchen staples. Make these cleaners yourself because you know what’s going in them and they’ll also save you money!

Up first’…an all-purpose cleaner that you can use everywhere in your house. The ingredients are Borax, vinegar, dish detergent, essential oils – if you want, and hot water. What’s great about this cleaner is that you can mix it right in the spray bottle. The cost is less than two dollars versus 4 in the store.

Another favorite is an easy scrub cleaner that doesn’t take a lot of elbow grease “or” cost much money. Just two ingredients’ – baking soda and dish detergent’ – mix it into a paste and you’re good to go. It’s that simple.
